The normal rubber band war between my next-cubicle neighbor and I resulted in a random, unintentional peace offering: the rubber band heart.

Alas, the clouds moved in before I could get a good image. Another night, perhaps. I did, however, confirm with my own eyes that Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto are still there.  

When it rains it pours

My mom is having hip replacement surgery today. She just endured a triple bypass surgery last month and fell during her rehab. Wishing nothing but good things for you today, Mom. Love you. 

A walk to the Ballard Market

I wasn't the only one to walk to the market this afternoon during a break in the rain.
