Slowly but slowly

This the hospital in St. Joseph, MI where my mom had her open heart surgery.

I've been spending a lot of time here as she's recovered from the triple bypass procedure she endured on Friday. She has consistently been improving since then albeit not as quickly as expected or as hoped. She's been up and walking a couple times in the last two days, but mostly she's been resting. The doctors hope to move her out of ICU tomorrow (Wednesday).  It's been a tough road for her, but she's just as tough in her own way. We're all confident she'll recover completely soon.
